Day 1 - 17/09/18

Looking at different artists works, I was able to see how lettering is incorporated into our daily lives without noticing. One that stood out to me from the presentation was the letters found in architecture. Although it may not have been the original intention of the architects to have the alphabet appear from their buildings, it has changed how I perceived the architecture and design of the things in my everyday life. Working with plain white paper under a time constraint was slightly stressful at first, but later I realised was helpful was I could easily pick out which of my ideas were stronger without the distraction of other elements like colour and the amount of time I spent on them.

Day 2 - 18/09/18

What technical problems did you encounter today in making your 3D outcome? How could these have been avoided?

What type of location would be appropriate in which to photograph your 3D outcome? Give reasons. What are you trying to achieve with the photo?

What were the challenges of translating a physical form to digital? How did you overcome them?

Day 3 - 20/09/18

Using the comments which came out of the crit, an what you learned from looking at the work, write a short evaluation of your own work. What was successful and what could have been better? What lessons have you learned that you can apply to future projects?
